Route Map Planned Route will take you to a Gooogle Docs Spreadsheet, describing my planned route, its a work in progress and will change as I hear of places to include or those to avoid. The first page that opens should be the overall view, with country specific stuff reached by clicking on the country tabs in blue. Etape is my actual route.

Peter, you’re the modern Odyseus, who inhabited only a nightly moment with me in the Hotel Fenno in Helsinki. So I love your endeavor with pictures and text. I owe you my aquaintance with Pilsner Urkell beer from then.
A pity you didn’t make it to Moscow, where I live; my 15-yr-old son has a bicycle that he coursed everywhere through the city on. He speaks fluent Russian and could have shown you the sights. (But now he’s in Edmonton Alberta Canada to avoid being drafted into the Russian army.) Ah, well. Keep on truckin’, Peter!
